But all landlords own other people’s homes and profit off the commodification of housing. Housing should not be a commodity. They could stay in their home and perhaps you could get a job. Being a landlord is not a job.

It’s not your fault you’re caught up in this toxic housing system, but it is your responsibility to do your part to change it. Don’t sell someone else’s home. It shouldn’t be your right to do so. Let them rent to own it by the rent they’ve paid so far is they want to. I don’t care if the deed is in your name. If you don’t live there, there’s no good reason for it to be your property.
