I loved this article, it was really heartening to hear someone else encountering the same stages and challenges. A lot of articles like these don't feel relevant or helpful, but this one really did. Especially the imposter syndrome, aaah! I'm in that so hard, I have no idea what I like or don't like anymore, and trying to make life decisions feels like this bizarre game of playing dress up.

I also wanted wanted to highlight this section, because one of my favorite things about "chop wood, carry water" is that, like so many Buddhist sayings, it has so many layers of meaning. This is such a true meaning of it as well, and different than how I've been defining it, and I'm happy to add it to my collection of meanings. Ah, the onion joy of koans :)
