If Peace Is a Threat to You
To Marjorie, from an “insurrectionist”
I saw Marjorie Taylor Greene yesterday. In the flesh. All blonde and orange like a Donald Trump Barbie doll. She came out onto the balcony of the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, DC, to get a look at, what she called, the “aggressive insurrectionists.” First, she had the cops clear the balcony of supporters from within the House offices, supporters who were throwing their love and praise to a crowd chanting for peace and an end to violence.
There were another 400 protesters inside, engaging in the vicious terrorist act of peacefully protesting a war and crying out for their government to hear them. Those 400 people were Jewish peace activists, brandishing weapons like banners, cardboard signs and matching T-shirts. Those shirts said the words, “Not in our name.” The signs said things like, “Never again is now” and “Jews against genocide.”
Of peaceful American protesters, Marjorie tweeted, “They must all be held in the DC gulag.”
Earlier that day, Rashida Tlaib, whom Marjorie calls a “terrorist sympathizer” for the heinous crime of being Palestinian-American and being, y’know, upset that innocent people are being slaughtered, spoke to a crowd of thousands gathered peacefully at the National Mall.
