I walked outside to water in the streets. At first, I was confused at what I saw, questioning and doubting whether the road had in fact been subsumed by a flood. When I asked around, most everyone shook their heads at me, until someone pointed up and said, “Look. It’s raining hard.” I looked, and they were right.
